SolidLiq
SolidLiq is a horizontal centrifuge (decanter) that separates sludge from water at a centrifugal force of about 1,400 times gravity. It receives liquid sludge continuously, discharging concentrated sludge cake at one end and separated water, returned to the plant, at the other. Instead of hauling 20 tonnes of sludge-laden water, about one tonne of sludge is transported in solid form.

In a settling tank, particles settle by gravity alone; inside SolidLiq the bowl rotates at high speed, multiplying the settling force more than a thousandfold, so what takes hours is separated in seconds.
The unit uses bolted components instead of a welded frame: the bowl, cone and shafts are forged or cast parts, achieving rotational accuracy of 0.02–0.05 mm, and any part can be replaced on site without cutting or welding.
Feed
Polymer-conditioned sludge enters through a stationary pipe along the axis into the feed chamber inside the conveyor, then into the bowl through 4 ports.
Settling
Solids are driven to the bowl wall by centrifugal force, while the water remains as an inner layer (the pond).
Conveying
The screw conveyor rotates at a slight differential speed relative to the bowl, pushing the sludge toward the cone.
Beach dewatering
On the 12° cone, the sludge rises above the water surface and is squeezed of water, then discharged through 5 ports.
Water discharge
Clarified water overflows the weir plates, exits through 8 windows and returns to the plant.
Key advantages
High centrifugal force
Separates in seconds what takes hours by gravity.
Bolted design
Forged and cast parts with no welds; the conveyor is the only welded part, and is stress-relieved.
Precision and balance
Rotational accuracy 0.02–0.05 mm, with dynamic balancing ISO 21940 G6.3.
Adjustable pond
Stainless steel weir plates 316L Balance between water clarity and cake dryness.
Wear protection
Tungsten carbide tiles, with stainless and duplex materials for corrosive environments.
Enclosed and continuous 24/7
Odor-free, small footprint, with local manufacturing, spare parts and maintenance.
